Parloa is an enterprise conversational AI platform that has powered over one billion customer interactions for global brands like IKEA and Booking.com. The company is backed by leading investors including General Catalyst, EQT Ventures, and Altimeter Capital, and is scaling to become the category leader in enterprise-grade agentic AI for customer experience. As an Inbound Marketing Development Representative (MDR), you will be the first point of contact for prospective customers engaging with Parloa's brand. You'll convert inbound interest into qualified opportunities for the sales team while supporting field marketing efforts, ensuring every prospect receives a thoughtful, high-quality initial experience. Key responsibilities include: responding to and qualifying inbound leads from marketing channels (web, events, campaigns); engaging prospects via email, phone, and social channels to understand their business challenges; conducting discovery conversations to assess fit, urgency, and buying intent; scheduling qualified meetings for Account Executives; maintaining accurate CRM records in Salesforce; collaborating with marketing to provide feedback on lead quality and campaign performance; refining messaging based on prospect insights; and meeting monthly targets for qualified opportunities and pipeline contribution. You'll work with tools including LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce, Outreach, Vidyard, Seamless, Apollo, and Zoominfo. This role sits at the intersection of marketing and sales, requiring strong communication skills, curiosity, and sharp understanding of customer needs. Ideal candidates have 1+ years of experience in an SDR, MDR, or customer-facing role (SaaS experience preferred); strong written and verbal communication skills; a customer-first mindset with ability to ask thoughtful questions; high organization and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple inbound conversations simultaneously; familiarity with CRM tools and sales engagement platforms; and interest in AI, customer experience, or enterprise technology. Parloa operates with high intensity and clear expectations: fast execution, direct feedback, and meaningful contribution from day one. The company emphasizes ownership as accountability for outcomes, not just tasks, and seeks people comfortable making decisions, taking responsibility, and raising standards.
