As Marketing Coordinator, you'll work directly with the Head of Marketing to execute marketing strategy across events, social media, and sales enablement. This is an operational execution role focused on turning strategy into reality.
Key responsibilities include: owning project execution from brief to completion (coordinating timelines, tracking deliverables, managing review cycles, chasing approvals); supporting content production across events (logistics, vendor coordination, run-of-show), social (scheduling, community monitoring, asset coordination), and sales collateral (one-pagers, decks, updates); translating scientific concepts into plain language for broader audiences; maintaining the marketing calendar and flagging blockers before they become problems; and serving as connective tissue between strategy and execution.
You'll need 1-3 years of experience in scientific communications, journalism, marketing, or communications within life sciences, healthcare, or health data (agency or in-house). Project management is non-negotiable—you're deeply organized, manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, and build systems proactively. Scientific fluency is essential: you're comfortable with clinical research, real-world evidence, and health data concepts (no science degree required, but you need to have worked alongside scientists/clinicians). You have creative curiosity, strong writing skills, and opinions about what makes content effective. You're fast-moving, adaptable, low-ego, and thrive in small, fast-paced environments with minimal hierarchy.
Comfortable tools include Notion, Slack, Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Google Workspace. This is not a pure social media manager or writing role—execution and coordination are the core job. The role is designed to expand into budget management, vendor relationships, creative execution, and campaign ownership as you grow.
