Scribe is hiring its first Manager, Solutions Engineering to build and lead the founding team behind the company's most strategic customer engagements. The role involves establishing the Solutions Engineering function from the ground up, defining processes, scope, and playbooks that enable the team to scale. You will hire, mentor, and lead a founding team of Solutions Engineers with direct accountability for coaching, performance, and career development.
Key responsibilities include bringing technical credibility to strategic new business and expansion opportunities, working alongside your team from discovery through close. You'll deliver proof-of-concepts that connect Scribe's capabilities to measurable business outcomes, helping customers quantify time saved, costs avoided, and operational gains. The role requires acting as a bridge between Go-to-Market and Product leadership, carrying customer feedback into the product roadmap.
You'll build reusable demo assets, proof-of-concept frameworks, and technical narratives so customer outcomes don't depend on tribal knowledge. As the function evolves with the product and customer base, you'll use team performance data to decide what to change and continuously improve processes.
Scribe is a unicorn-valued company (founded 2019, $1B+ valuation) with 7 million users across 600,000 businesses. More than 94% of the Fortune 500 use Scribe's Specialized Intelligence platform, which automatically captures how work happens and turns it into a living asset. The company is backed by leading investors and has been named a LinkedIn Top Startup.
The ideal candidate has 3+ years of people management experience leading Solutions Engineers, Solutions Architects, or comparable technical customer-facing teams, and has worked as a Solutions Engineer at a high-growth SaaS company. You should credibly explain large language models and AI product concepts to both technical and executive audiences, have built a function rather than inherited one, and work well without an existing playbook. You'll design scalable programs and processes while staying hands-on in strategic customer engagements, and translate technical complexity into business value that executive buyers act on.
