Algolia is seeking a Manager, Solutions Engineering to lead and grow the AMER Solutions Engineer team, covering the US and supporting Commercial & SMB segments. You will manage approximately 5 Solutions Engineers who collaborate with customers to understand business challenges, architect solutions, and serve as subject matter experts on Algolia's AI Search platform.
Reporting to the Director of Solutions Engineering, you will own technical wins across the region, coach SEs on consultative selling and ROI mapping, and drive adoption of AI tools to improve deal velocity and SE productivity. Key responsibilities include leading deal-level technical evaluations from discovery through close, partnering with Sales and Customer Success leaders on account strategy and pipeline development, recruiting and ramping new hires, and implementing data-driven programs to improve win rates and sales cycle efficiency.
You will champion the SE team's adoption of AI coding tools, automated demo generation, and AI-assisted discovery and solution design. You'll also partner with Demo Engineering to build compelling examples that showcase ROI, work with Product to channel field intelligence into the roadmap, and serve as a trusted advisor to technical and executive stakeholders internally and externally.
