Salary: USD 153,000 - 201,000 / annual
Braze is hiring a Manager for Solutions Consulting in the AMER Commercial region, based in Chicago. This is a player-coach role managing and developing Solutions Consultants across diverse industry verticals and customer types. You'll lead a team of pre-sales engineers who serve as trusted advisors to prospective customers during the sales cycle, bringing product expertise, strategic vision, and best practices to customer engagements.
In this role, you'll manage hiring and development of Solutions Consultants, mentor team members, and partner cross-functionally with sales, marketing, security, and product teams. You'll draw on experience in pre-sales engineering, technical account management, or customer success to guide your team's strategy and execution. The position requires up to 50% travel at peak times.
You're an exceptional communicator with strong written and verbal skills, known for active listening and follow-through. You have a track record of selling into sophisticated accounts with pre-sales consulting or sales engineering teams. You bring domain knowledge in at least two areas: SaaS, mobile, APIs, marketing automation, direct marketing, marketing analytics, or programming (including HTML). You're intellectually curious, collaborative, and thrive in fast-moving environments where you can mentor others while expanding your own leadership capabilities.
