Wiz is a rapidly growing cloud security platform trusted by over 65% of the Fortune 100. The company recently became part of Google, combining its cloud and AI security capabilities with Google's threat intelligence and security operations.
You will join as Manager, Solution Engineering for the Public Sector team, reporting to the Director of Solutions Engineering. This is a hands-on management role where you'll lead a team of solutions engineers while remaining deeply technical. You'll partner with the regional sales director and account teams to understand and address the technical needs of enterprise public sector customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and mentoring a solutions engineering team focused on public sector accounts
- Serving as the trusted technical advisor to customers on cloud security across AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Collaborating with sales teams to develop strong customer relationships and drive technical value
- Combining team leadership with hands-on technical work
- Helping customers maximize value from Wiz's cloud security platform
Required qualifications:
- Cloud security experience
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
- Network engineering background
- Strong knowledge of operating systems, virtual machines, and containers
- Understanding of risk-based security assessments and frameworks
- Knowledge of cloud identity, access management, certificates, and keys
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with CSPM tools or cloud infrastructure security
- Technical SaaS selling experience
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes
- Infrastructure as Code knowledge
