Delinea is an AI-first identity security platform company that helps organizations govern human and machine identities across cloud and traditional infrastructure. This Manager, Software Engineering role leads the Fastpath Access Governance engineering team, which builds and operates Delinea's application access governance product.
You will manage two teams: a sprint team of software engineers building core Fastpath services using .NET, RESTful APIs, and background workers deployed on Kubernetes/Azure; and a team of integration specialists maintaining connectors to enterprise applications (Oracle, NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, Salesforce). You report directly to the Engineering Director.
Key responsibilities include owning the technical roadmap, delivery, quality, and operational health of Fastpath Access Governance services; leading the effort to bring these capabilities to the Delinea Platform natively; partnering with Product, UX, and Architecture in a Scrum model to shape requirements and drive architectural decisions; and driving adoption of AI coding assistants and test automation across your teams.
Delinea is an AI-first engineering organization where engineers use AI tools daily for code writing, review, testing, and design. You'll be hands-on with AI tools yourself and expected to push your teams to maximize their effectiveness with these tools.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; 5+ years managing Agile engineering teams with strong delivery and team development track record; 5+ years hands-on software development with deep fluency in .NET/C# or comparable backend technologies; strong technical skills in distributed systems architecture; experience building and operating cloud-native services on Azure or AWS at scale; excellent communication and collaboration skills; and hands-on experience with AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar), AI design tools, and AI-based test automation.
Preferred: background in identity governance (IGA), access management, or security software; hands-on experience building or integrating with ERP, HCM, or CRM systems.
