nCino is seeking a Manager of Segment & Partner Marketing to lead go-to-market strategy across priority industry segments and the partner ecosystem. This is a hands-on management role combining strategic marketing leadership with direct execution.
Segment Marketing Responsibilities:
Define and maintain Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) frameworks and segment prioritization across nCino's North America industry segments in partnership with Product and Sales. Own segment-level narratives, positioning, and buyer-journey messaging tailored to each segment's distinct buyers, use cases, and competitive context. Lead segment research, market opportunity sizing, and industry analyses to guide GTM investment decisions. Develop segment-level go-to-market plans and campaign strategies to drive pipeline and market share within priority segments.
Partner Marketing Responsibilities:
Own partner co-marketing strategy including joint value propositions, co-branded campaigns, and partner-sourced/influenced pipeline across the technology and solution-provider ecosystem. Build and maintain partner enablement including partner-facing narratives, decks, and playbooks. Establish and report on segment and partner marketing performance metrics tied to pipeline, influence, and reach. Develop, implement, and maintain partner GTM alignment frameworks.
Team & Cross-Functional Leadership:
Attract, grow, and retain talent; manage personnel, professional development, and hiring for the Segment and Partner Marketing team. Develop annual and quarterly goals aligned with broader Marketing, Sales, and Product objectives. Manage team budget and spend. Serve as the main point of contact and prioritization owner for segment and partner marketing requests from stakeholders across the business. Ensure all materials reflect nCino brand standards. Maintain working fluency in the nCino Platform to guide messaging and enable partners. Lead the team in developing collateral including segment materials and partner playbooks. Continually research the banking, credit union, and priority-segment landscape. Perform competitive analysis relevant to segment and partner positioning. Work cross-functionally within Marketing and across nCino departments, customers, partners, and prospects to identify and scope projects.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or comparable field plus minimum 8 years of functional marketing experience and 2 years of management experience (or equivalent combination of experience, education, and superior performance). Exceptional writing, editing, and communication/presentation skills. Data mining expertise with ability to draw conclusions and recommendations from complex data sets. Proven track record of writing industry reports/analyses and monitoring industry trends and news. Experience conducting competitor analysis and forming ROI calculators for products. Motivated to achieve and exceed metrics and revenue goals. Proven track record of designing and writing marketing copy and content. Strong time management and organizational skills with ability to handle deadlines in fast-paced settings. Ability to evaluate marketing requests from stakeholders, develop project plans, prioritize, and act as main point of contact. Strong attention to detail. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Proactive, motivated self-starter. Strong presentation skills and proficiency with PowerPoint.
Ideal Experience:
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite. Proven researcher with expertise in bank subsectors. MBA or graduate-level marketing degree preferred.
Location:
Based near HQ in Wilmington, NC. Open to candidates in Charlotte or Raleigh who can visit HQ 1-2 times/month, or candidates open to relocating.
