OpenGov is seeking a Manager of Sales Development Representatives based in Pune to lead a team of 6 SDRs generating pipeline for OpenGov's US go-to-market operations. OpenGov is the leader in AI and ERP solutions for local and state governments, serving over 2,000 US public sector organizations including cities, counties, state agencies, school districts, and special districts.
In this role, you will own the performance, coaching, and day-to-day execution of the Pune SDR team, ensuring consistent, high-quality outbound activity targeting the US public sector market. You'll report to a US-based Director of Sales Development and serve as the connective tissue between the Pune team and US leadership, translating strategy into daily execution and measurable results.
Key responsibilities include managing and coaching 6 SDRs to hit pipeline and activity targets; monitoring individual and team metrics (calls, emails, meetings booked, pipeline generated); translating US GTM strategy and territory priorities into daily and weekly execution plans; building onboarding and ramp programs for new SDRs; partnering with US-based leadership and Account Executives on lead quality and handoff processes; ensuring effective use of Salesforce, Outreach, and LinkedIn; managing shift scheduling for US-aligned hours; delivering regular performance updates to US leadership; and building a high-energy, competitive, and supportive team culture.
You'll need 6+ years of sales development or outbound sales experience with a proven track record managing SDR or BDR teams. Experience managing teams supporting US markets or working US-aligned hours is essential. Strong coaching skills, excellent English communication, data-driven approach to metrics, and fluency in Salesforce and sales engagement tools are required. Background in B2B SaaS, BPO, or government-focused sales is a strong plus. Bachelor's degree preferred.
