Salary: USD 201,400 - 251,750 / annual

Cohesity is seeking a Manager, Sales Engineering to lead a small team of Sales Engineers in the region. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with people management, focusing on coaching, pre-sales execution support, and complex customer opportunity assistance. Key responsibilities include: - Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Engineers, supporting their technical development and customer engagement skills throughout the sales cycle - Partner closely with Sales Managers to support new customer opportunities, providing hands-on technical guidance and ensuring high-quality pre-sales support across assigned territories - Support customer engagements across Cohesity's Data Cloud portfolio, including backup, recovery, cyber resilience, and data security solutions - Assist with RFPs, RFIs, proposals, and deal support, ensuring timely and well-positioned technical responses - Support customer and partner conversations related to secondary storage and data protection use cases - Ensure consistent delivery of product demonstrations, technical workshops, and proofs of concept - Identify technical challenges during pre-sales and early customer engagements, escalating to Sales, Product, Engineering, and Support teams - Provide hands-on coaching and guidance to Sales Engineers during complex deals and customer meetings Ideal candidates will have: - Prior experience managing or mentoring Sales Engineers, or serving as a technical team lead in pre-sales, infrastructure, data protection, or security environments - Strong technical foundation in enterprise data protection, backup and recovery, or cyber resilience technologies - Experience partnering with Information Security, IT, or Infrastructure teams, with solid understanding of enterprise security concepts and compliance - Demonstrated ability to coach and develop technical talent - Working knowledge of on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent practical experience) - Strong communication skills and willingness to travel as required - Security certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM) are a plus - Ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and support decision-making
