As Manager of Sales Development, you will lead the SDR function, currently a team of eight, with responsibility for growing it further. This role owns two critical functions: (1) driving net new pipeline and revenue through inbound and outbound channels, and (2) building a talent pipeline for the Account Executive organization by hiring, training, and promoting high-performing SDRs into closing roles.
Key responsibilities include achieving net new pipeline sourcing goals, leading top-of-funnel execution with clear activity SLAs and KPIs, hiring and recruiting SDR talent, coaching reps daily through call reviews and live rep development, designing and running a structured promotion path from SDR to AE, owning and continuously refining the outbound playbook across email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels, running rigorous experiments on messaging and targeting, and collaborating cross-functionally with sales leadership, product marketing, and RevOps. You will report to the Head of Growth and maintain clear dashboards on activity, conversion, pipeline contribution, and team development metrics.
You bring 2+ years leading SDRs and 2+ years closing deals as an AE, with a track record of building teams, hiring and ramping reps, and promoting talent into closing roles. You are a coach first, energized by making others better, with measurable evidence of rep improvement under your leadership. You are a hands-on operator who picks up the phone, writes sequences, and runs calls yourself. You are metrics-driven, fluent in modern sales stacks (Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, intent tools), experienced in technical or complex B2B sales, scrappy and resourceful, and thrive in high-trust, high-performance environments.
