Salary: USD 135,000 - 169,500 / annual
Brex is seeking a Manager of Sales Development to build, lead, and mentor a high-performing Sales Development Representative (SDR) team responsible for outbound prospecting and pipeline generation. This is a hands-on management role where you'll directly impact revenue by optimizing team performance and driving innovation in sales development processes.
Key responsibilities include leading an SDR team to achieve monthly and quarterly quotas, recruiting and onboarding new SDRs, providing coaching and professional development, and reporting on individual and team-level performance to senior leadership. You'll maintain daily activity goals and weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting while enforcing the SDR playbook and rules of engagement.
Cross-functional collaboration is central to the role. You'll partner with marketing to improve lead scoring and demand generation processes, work with sales training to enhance prospecting skills and product knowledge, and collaborate with Account Executives to strengthen AE:SDR partnerships and prospecting plans.
The ideal candidate brings 1+ years of SDR management experience with a consistent record of quota attainment, plus 1+ years of quota-carrying sales experience (SDR or full-cycle). You should be an expert in outbound sales via email, phone, and social selling, with deep proficiency in LinkedIn, Outreach, SalesNav, ZoomInfo, and Salesforce. You're comfortable getting in the trenches with your team, conducting cold calls, and writing email copy. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, data-driven mindset, and a focus on continuous improvement are essential.
