Eleanor Health is rethinking addiction treatment by building an integrated care model that expands access to evidence-based, whole-person substance use disorder treatment. The company delivers medication-assisted therapy, behavioral health therapy, care management, and social support services across multiple outpatient clinic locations, supported by innovative technology. This Manager, Performance Marketing role owns paid acquisition strategy and execution across multiple channels—Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, affiliate, programmatic and streaming audio, Meta, and Reddit. The primary accountability is paid cost per new member (measured end-to-end from spend to members who complete a first visit), not lead volume. You will build and scale channels beyond paid search, run a disciplined experimentation program on landing pages and creative, and optimize the website conversion funnel. Key responsibilities include: owning quarterly paid cost per new member targets and budget pacing across five channels; leading channel diversification by building, testing, and scaling affiliate, programmatic audio, Meta, and Reddit with defined success criteria; designing and running structured A/B tests on landing pages, forms, and bid strategies; maintaining offline conversion tracking and value-based bidding; building and managing the affiliate program (recruitment, vetting, partner quality); owning website-visitor-to-lead conversion and the online self-scheduling experience; maintaining funnel visibility and reporting cost per new member by channel; directing a paid search specialist on Google and Microsoft Ads; and managing affiliate networks, programmatic partners, and other vendors as an informed client. You will work within a shared accountability model where the Access team handles insurance verification and appointment scheduling, and the Organic & AI Acquisition team owns lifecycle communications. A standing intake funnel review brings all three functions together. This is a hands-on role requiring both strategic direction and execution; you will build campaigns, manage partners, and optimize against member-level outcomes. The role is explicitly NOT a paid search specialist role (that is covered by a dedicated specialist), not an organic/content/brand role, not a lifecycle/CRM role, not purely strategic, and not a role where you hand thinking to agencies. REQUIREMENTS: - Approximately 5+ years in performance or acquisition marketing, with at least two years managing a substantial paid media budget - Hands-on expertise in at least three of the five channels (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, affiliate, programmatic and streaming audio, Meta, Reddit) - Real depth in at least one of affiliate, programmatic and streaming audio, Meta, or Reddit (ideally two); paid search is covered by a specialist - Proven record of launching a paid channel from zero and scaling it on member-level or customer-level economics (not platform-reported conversions) - Paid search literacy sufficient to direct and audit a specialist - Demonstrated experience running a structured experimentation program (written hypotheses, pre-declared success measures, documented readouts) - Comfort building and defending reporting, measuring to end of funnel rather than leads, and handling imperfect attribution in affiliate, audio, and programmatic - Familiarity with incrementality testing - Experience directing specialists, contractors, or vendors; managing at least one direct report is a plus - Sound decision-making in regulated healthcare marketing with hard compliance constraints around patient privacy, partner compensation, and advertising policy - Operating rigor: prioritize under constraint and hold a plan while conditions change Helpful but not required: healthcare or behavioral health marketing experience; LegitScript certification or addiction treatment advertising policy familiarity; affiliate program management on a network or platform; customer data platform or call tracking tooling; contact center or intake team collaboration; multi-state or multi-market experience.
