You will lead and support a team of approximately 8 Account Executives II focused on mid-sized private sector organizations in the Eastern Time Zone. This is a people management role requiring a proven track record of hiring, developing, and leading inclusive, high-performing teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coaching the team on sales strategy, pipeline reviews, and quarterly target achievement
- Hiring new account executives and providing onboarding and ongoing coaching
- Cross-functional collaboration to solve problems and manage projects
- Creating content for training and development
- Supporting professional development plans and providing tactical feedback
- Fostering team culture with high emotional intelligence
- Championing Samsara's cultural principles (customer success focus, long-term thinking, growth mindset, inclusivity, team wins) as the company scales
Minimum qualifications include at least two years of proven leadership performance, a strong track record of overachievement with outbound coaching experience, understanding of complex sales cycles with multiple decision makers, excellent communication and public speaking skills, strong interpersonal and team management abilities, self-starter mentality, growth mindset, data-driven decision-making proficiency, ability to provide upward feedback, pipeline forecasting accuracy, and comfort working cross-functionally.
