Itron is seeking a Manager of IT Solutions Delivery to oversee the design, development, and delivery of business intelligence and enterprise application solutions. This role combines leadership of technical teams with strategic responsibility for data governance, analytics infrastructure, and enterprise application delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of BI developers and analysts, ensuring timely and quality delivery of dashboards, reports, and data models
- Oversee IT solutions delivery for enterprise applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical standards
- Lead application development, integration, and maintenance across multiple platforms
- Act as liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into actionable solutions
- Develop and maintain enterprise data models supporting analytics, operational reporting, and executive dashboards
- Oversee integration of data from multiple enterprise systems, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and performance optimization
- Establish and enforce technical standards, coding best practices, and solution-delivery methodologies
- Evaluate emerging technologies and tools to improve solution performance and delivery capabilities
- Partner with cross-functional leaders in Finance, Operations, Customer Service, and Manufacturing to design technology solutions
- Manage vendor relationships, including software providers, integration partners, and support organizations
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as automation, data quality enhancement, and reporting pipeline optimization
- Ensure all solutions comply with corporate security, data privacy policies, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, define BI strategy, and implement best practices for data governance
The position is based in West Union, SC, with telecommuting allowed up to 2 days per week.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or directly related field
- 3+ years of IT solutions delivery, application development, or related technical role
- 3+ years in each of: Power BI for reporting and analytics; ETL tools and data integration processes; SQL and relational database management; Software Development Life Cycle experience
- 2+ years in each of: Cloud platforms for data processing and analytics; developing or supporting enterprise data warehouses; SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or equivalent ETL platform
- 1+ year in each of: API-based integrations and REST services; version control systems; Agile or Scrum project methodologies
