Wealthsimple, Canada's leading financial innovator, is seeking a Manager of Demand Generation to own and execute demand generation programs for the retail sales business. This role is responsible for creating and capturing high-intent demand across paid media, organic, lifecycle, and referral channels, with a focus on demand quality and downstream client value rather than volume alone.
Key responsibilities include: owning execution of consumer demand generation across multiple channels with clear focus on quality measured through funded accounts; building demand programs that feed sales and advisory teams for high-value segments; partnering with Sales and Commercial Operations on lead definitions, routing, and scoring; building and maintaining clear reporting across the demand funnel from first touch through sign-up, funding, and retained client value; running consistent testing cadence across creative, audiences, offers, and landing pages; embedding AI tools into demand generation workflows; and contributing to quarterly demand planning.
The ideal candidate brings 4–6 years of demand generation, growth, or performance marketing experience with a track record of generating high-quality consumer demand across multiple channels. Deep hands-on experience with paid media (Google, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, programmatic) is essential, with demonstrated ability to optimize for downstream value. Experience generating demand across distinct consumer segments, strong cross-functional partnering skills with Sales and Product Marketing, and a demonstrated habit of using AI to accelerate work are required. An analytical mindset with ability to diagnose funnel problems and recommend changes is critical.
Bonus qualifications include consumer sales environment experience, lifecycle marketing background, hands-on platform experience (Braze, Iterable, HubSpot), and experience in consumer fintech, investing, banking, or insurance. Wealthsimple offers top-tier health benefits, group savings with employer match, 20 vacation days plus 4 wellness days and unlimited sick/mental health days, ability to work outside Canada for up to 90 days per year, and employee resource groups. The company operates as a hybrid team with over 1,500 employees across North America.
