Curriculum Associates is seeking a Manager of Creative to lead the India-based design team while serving as a liaison between India and US creative and marketing stakeholders. The role combines hands-on creative execution with people management and process improvement responsibilities.
You will design and deliver high-quality creative assets across print, digital, and video formats, including web, email, social media, presentations, and collateral. You'll develop original designs aligned with brand guidelines, collaborate with US-based marketing teams from concept through final delivery, and present design concepts and deliverables to internal stakeholders. Day-to-day, you'll clarify briefs, manage timelines, consolidate feedback, and ensure revisions are implemented accurately.
As a people leader, you'll provide guidance and mentorship to India design team members, support task prioritization, assist with onboarding, and help define and track basic performance metrics such as turnaround time, revisions, and on-time delivery. You'll identify workflow improvements, document best practices, and escalate risks or resourcing constraints proactively to senior leadership.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Visual Communications, or related field
- 5+ years of professional graphic design and/or video experience, preferably in B2B and EdTech; GCC environment experience is a plus
- 2+ years of experience managing or leading a team, with ability to engage, motivate, and support creative talent
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat)
- Working knowledge of video and motion tools (Premiere Pro, After Effects)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
- Demonstrated proficiency creating content across multiple media channels
- Excellent creative vision and aesthetic with understanding of current digital design trends
- Exceptional communication skills; ability to articulate creative ideas to team members, leadership, and cross-functional partners
- Experience with project management tools (Workfront or similar)
- Strong understanding of layout, color theory, typography, and digital-first design principles
- Ability to lead and contribute as part of cross-functional, cross-geography team
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail
- Openness to feedback and willingness to grow into expanded leadership responsibilities
