Horizon3.ai is a fast-growing cybersecurity company specializing in autonomous penetration testing and continuous security validation. The platform helps organizations identify and remediate critical security issues before attackers can exploit them.
You will lead and grow the Commercial sales segment, managing a team of high-velocity sellers focused on small business customers. Reporting to the Director, Commercial Sales, you'll own pipeline and revenue targets while building and refining inbound and outbound motions for commercial customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead, hire, onboard, and coach a Commercial sales team with day-to-day management accountability
- Own pipeline and revenue targets; guide the team to consistently meet or exceed goals
- Build and refine sales motions including campaigns, sequences, and industry-specific plays
- Partner with Marketing, Sales Operations, Product, Solutions Engineering, and Alliances on integrated programs
- Establish operating rhythm with clear goals, ongoing coaching, data-driven dashboards, and performance follow-up
- Provide forecasting and reporting on team performance and key metrics to sales leadership
- Build career paths and development plans for team members
- Create a supportive, accountable team culture balancing encouragement with clear expectations
- Stay current on Horizon3's offerings and the broader security landscape; translate insights into talk tracks and plays
- Champion process and tooling improvements in Salesforce, Salesloft/Outreach, and LinkedIn Navigator
Required: 7–10 years B2B SaaS or technology sales experience; 2–4 years frontline sales management leading high-velocity teams; direct exposure to cybersecurity or security tooling either at a security vendor or through sustained selling into security/DevOps/IT buyers. Demonstrated quota over-achievement as IC and manager; strong coaching and people-development skills; clear communication and presentation abilities; data-informed approach to pipeline management; high initiative and follow-through; experience designing outbound programs and campaign-based motions; comfort working closely with the Director and reinforcing shared standards; genuine interest in cybersecurity and ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
Nice-to-haves: formal coaching or leadership training/certifications; experience at high-growth SaaS or cloud providers.
Role requires on-site presence 3 days per week in Washington, DC.
