Motive is a B2B SaaS platform that empowers operations teams with tools for fleet management, safety, and financial visibility. The company serves nearly 100,000 customers across transportation, logistics, construction, energy, field service, manufacturing, and other industries.
You will lead and scale Motive's commercial sales segment in Mexico, one of the company's fastest-growing markets. This is a hands-on management role focused on building a high-performing sales team, driving new business acquisition, and expanding Motive's footprint across small and mid-sized customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own commercial new business acquisition across Mexico with full accountability for pipeline, forecasting, and revenue performance
- Lead a high-velocity sales motion with strong top-of-funnel activity, efficient deal cycles, and consistent quota attainment
- Hire, develop, and coach a team of Commercial Account Executives in discovery, objection handling, and closing
- Drive daily, weekly, and monthly performance cadences including pipeline reviews, deal inspections, and forecast accuracy
- Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales Development, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success to improve funnel conversion
- Optimize and localize sales processes, playbooks, and messaging for the Mexican commercial segment
- Maintain a hands-on approach in key deals, supporting reps in advancing opportunities
- Build a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement
- Leverage Salesforce, Gong, and other data tools to identify trends and improve team performance
You bring 5+ years of B2B sales experience with 2+ years managing or leading high-performing commercial or SMB sales teams. You have a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quotas in high-volume, fast-paced environments. You are data-driven, operationally strong, and passionate about developing talent. Deep understanding of Mexico's business landscape and buying behavior in the commercial segment is essential. Experience in transportation, logistics, construction, or industrial technology is a plus. Familiarity with Salesforce, Salesloft, Gong, Slack, and modern sales tech stacks is expected.
