Anthropic is seeking a Manager of Solutions Architects to lead the pre-sales team within Applied AI Enterprise Tech. In this role, you will drive the adoption of frontier AI systems in partnership with the go-to-market organization, working with some of the world's most sophisticated technology companies deploying AI at the core of their products and operations. You will be responsible for hiring, managing, and developing a team of pre-sales Solutions Architects, providing both technical guidance and career development. You'll set performance goals in collaboration with sales leadership, act as a technical sponsor for high-value strategic customers, and advise them on AI adoption strategies, use case scoping, and proof-of-concept execution. Key responsibilities include partnering closely with Enterprise Tech sales leadership to identify new adoption strategies for Anthropic's products (Claude for Enterprise, Claude Code, and the API); working with cross-functional teams like product and engineering to prioritize customer feedback and resolve adoption blockers; and traveling to customer sites and conferences for executive sessions, technical workshops, and relationship building. You will also contribute to thought leadership through conference presentations, webinars, and technical content creation, while staying current with emerging AI/ML trends and the competitive landscape. Required qualifications: 7+ years as a Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or similar pre-sales technical role; 3+ years of technical pre-sales management experience; deep technical proficiency with enterprise AI use cases, API integrations, and LLM deployments; ability to thrive in building and scaling teams in fast-moving environments; excellent communication and coaching abilities; strong executive presence; high-level familiarity with LLM architecture and operation; and passion for making powerful technology safe and beneficial. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years leading solution architect teams through hypergrowth (10-50+ people), hands-on experience with AI platforms and enterprise integration patterns, proven track record engaging C-level stakeholders in $10M+ technical evaluations, and demonstrated success adapting technical approaches across customer segments.
