Razorpay, India's leading fintech platform processing $180+ billion in annualized transactions, is seeking a Manager of AI Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) to lead strategy and execution around visibility in AI-powered search and answer engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and Gemini.
In this role, you will own Razorpay's AEO strategy aligned with annual operating plans and quarterly objectives, with clear KPIs around AI answer visibility, brand mention share, and citation rates. You'll build and maintain comprehensive performance dashboards tracking Razorpay's positioning across major answer engines, monitor competitive AEO positioning across payment platforms, and define metrics like an "Agentic Readiness Score" to measure how well Razorpay's website, documentation, and content are structured for AI agent consumption.
You will audit and optimize Razorpay's existing content—website, blog, documentation, and learning pages—for AI retrieval, ensuring structured data, clear entity relationships, and answer-ready formatting. You'll develop content strategies specifically designed to win AI citations, working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and content teams to implement technical SEO improvements, schema markup, and content architecture changes that enhance AI discoverability.
This is a strategic role requiring you to stay ahead of the rapidly evolving AI search landscape, anticipate changes in how answer engines index and surface financial services content, and position Razorpay as a trusted, authoritative source in fintech across AI platforms. You'll manage a small team or work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to execute initiatives, track performance against KPIs, and iterate based on data.
