Flexport is a global commerce platform that simplifies international trade, moving over $19B in merchandise across 112 countries annually. This Manager, Account Management role is based in Singapore and focuses on growing Flexport's business across Singapore and Malaysia by deepening existing client relationships and leading a team of Account Managers. You will own the long-term relationship strategy for a portfolio of clients, uncovering new opportunities within their supply chains and developing tailored solutions. As a trusted advisor, you'll advocate for client needs internally while identifying win-win solutions that strengthen partnerships and improve retention. You'll lead and mentor a team of Account Managers, holding them accountable for performance and growth, coaching them through complex client conversations and cross-functional escalations, and supporting their career development with regular feedback. Key responsibilities include: leading business growth initiatives through sales lead generation and opportunity development; using deep knowledge of client goals, industry dynamics, and Flexport's service portfolio to proactively close new solutions; conducting regular client touchpoints and business reviews to demonstrate value and identify expansion opportunities; managing cross-functional collaboration with Supply Chain Operations, Procurement, Account Solutions, Implementation, and Trade & Financial Services teams; monitoring client health to improve outcomes and meet business objectives; and ensuring high product adoption by mastering the Flexport platform and educating clients. You should have a bachelor's or master's degree and at least 5 years of experience in sales, account management, or supply chain operations, ideally at a managerial or team lead level. A background in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain is highly preferred. You'll need an entrepreneurial mindset, strong track record of delivering innovation, experience with complex global team matrices, and background working with retail, electronics, and tech verticals. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, think strategically, and build strong internal and external relationships. Experience with AI adoption is a plus.
