Intercom (via Fin AI) is seeking a Manager of Account Executives to lead a team focused on new business revenue in the North America mid-market segment. This is a people-management role responsible for building and running a high-performing sales team, developing segment strategy, and executing value-led sales processes.
Key responsibilities include:
**Sales Strategy & Execution**: Define and implement effective sales strategies for the North American mid-market segment in collaboration with senior leadership. Develop sales plans and tactics aligned with company goals and regional market dynamics. Monitor opportunity pipelines to ensure timely follow-ups, deal closures, and revenue growth.
**Team Leadership & Performance Management**: Set clear performance expectations and KPIs for Account Executives. Track individual and team performance using CRM tools and reporting dashboards. Analyze sales metrics to optimize processes, identify trends, and forecast revenue accurately.
**Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Partner with marketing, product, and customer success teams to develop tailored go-to-market strategies and ensure seamless customer experiences. Work closely with senior leadership on alignment, budgets, and resource allocation.
**Customer Focus**: Maintain strong understanding of customer needs and market trends. Ensure thoughtful handoffs to the Relationship Management team while keeping customer experience top of mind.
**Reporting & Analytics**: Regularly report on team performance, sales pipeline, and market conditions to senior management. Provide data-driven recommendations to improve sales performance and achieve growth targets.
Required qualifications: 5+ years in quota-carrying new business individual contributor roles with proven success on complex, strategic deals (procurement, legal, security involved). 3+ years of management experience. Demonstrated expertise in outbound sales motions, forecasting principles, and revenue trend analysis. Proven passion for teaching and developing talent. Experience with GTM strategy development and operational planning. Strong communication skills across written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal mediums. Ability to balance short-term and long-term priorities in an adaptive environment.
