Ramp is building smart infrastructure for finance teams, automating how over $200B in annualized spend flows through 70,000+ companies. The company handles payment authorization, risk flagging, spend categorization, and financial close processes for ambitious businesses. You will manage a team of Account Executives responsible for hunting, pitching, and closing new business. Your core responsibilities include 1:1 coaching and mentoring, career development planning, and strategy alignment with Sales, Marketing, Product, and executive leadership. You'll oversee daily activities, quota performance, and hiring/training of new AEs on Ramp's product, buyer personas, and sales tools. Key deliverables include setting and maintaining high-performing culture, strategizing pipeline and prospecting initiatives with cross-functional partners, building performance dashboards and forecasts for senior leadership, optimizing team systems and processes, executing end-to-end sales with new clients, establishing AE playbook resources, and representing the team cross-functionally. You'll need minimum 3 years of quota-carrying sales experience as an individual contributor and 2+ years building and leading high-performing sales teams. Success in fast-paced, results-oriented GTM environments (ideally SaaS) with consistent above-quota performance in outbound sales is essential. You should demonstrate passion for hiring and team development, strong cross-functional collaboration, ability to articulate contractual/technical/financial value to executives, and proficiency with data analytics tools (Salesforce, Looker, Gong, Excel) and email/call automation platforms. Nice-to-haves include financial services sales experience in full-cycle roles and prior experience at high-growth fintech startups. The role requires in-person presence at NYC HQ or SF office at least 3 days/week.
