As a Machine Learning Engineer II, you will collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and engineers to accelerate the development and deployment of generative AI and machine learning features. You'll contribute hands-on to building services and pipelines that power multiple ML/AI capabilities in PagerDuty's product.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and improving capabilities that enable production machine learning and generative AI solutions
- Partnering with data scientists to share engineering context and support larger initiatives
- Implementing best practices for shipping ML capabilities to production
- Continuously optimizing workflows and reducing technical debt
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience building, designing, and shipping machine learning solutions to production
- Proven software development track record with Python
- Demonstrated experience with data modeling, database design, ETL processes, unstructured data handling, and cloud-based data infrastructure
- Ability to stand up infrastructure building blocks for ML processes (data exploration, model training, deployment)
Preferred qualifications include experience working with product teams on timely delivery, exposure to large language models and generative AI, and ability to develop and ship ML services using container orchestration systems like Kubernetes.
