The Lifecycle Director will own the customer journey end-to-end for an assigned lifecycle stage (acquisition, onboarding, retention, or reactivation), reporting directly to the Head of Customer Marketing. This is a strategic leadership role, not a coordinator position. You will set strategy, define the roadmap, and be accountable for commercial outcomes. Key responsibilities include: - Owning the strategic roadmap for your assigned lifecycle stage with clear KPIs and results narratives - Designing customer journeys, messaging strategy, and engagement cadence across email, push, and SMS - Directing shared campaign execution resources and holding teams accountable without direct management authority - Partnering with data and martech teams to instrument flows and ensure clean measurement - Building a structured test-and-learn program with documented hypotheses and repeatable cadence - Analyzing performance data to connect lifecycle metrics to retention curves, reactivation revenue, and LTV impact - Developing scalable playbooks that document what works and set the foundation for team scaling You'll work in a fast-growing consumer product with a clear line of sight from your work to revenue. Lifecycle at Polymarket is still early, offering real opportunity to build something new, define the playbook, and prove what works. Required experience: 5+ years in CRM, lifecycle, or retention marketing with direct ownership of a customer lifecycle stage and measurable commercial outcomes. You must demonstrate ability to connect lifecycle tactics to business outcomes (retention curves, reactivation revenue, LTV), direct execution talent in matrixed environments, and build structured experimentation programs. Strong written communication skills required. Preferred: Background building lifecycle programs at high-growth consumer products with transactional or trading mechanics; hands-on familiarity with Braze or comparable ESP; working knowledge of Hightouch or similar CDP.
