Harvey is an AI platform transforming legal and professional services work through frontier agentic AI, enterprise-grade infrastructure, and deep domain expertise. The company is scaling rapidly with strong product-market fit and world-class investor backing. As a Legal Engineer in EMEA, you will be a skilled lawyer who bridges Harvey's AI solutions and customer needs. You'll work alongside Account Executives to support all aspects of the sales strategy, building consultative relationships with law firm partners, associates, and in-house attorneys at private equity firms and Fortune 500 companies. Your primary responsibilities include engaging with lawyers at existing and prospective customers to understand their workflow challenges and demonstrate how Harvey's AI solutions address them. You'll establish credibility as an expert in solving specific legal problems—such as researching databases, drafting and analyzing contracts, analyzing briefs and filings, corporate governance, and conducting due diligence. You'll lead tailored product demonstrations for various law firm practice groups and in-house legal teams, asking probing questions to validate value and showcase relevant features. You'll partner with the marketing team to develop content resonating with lawyers across different practice areas and client types. Acting as the "Voice of the Customer," you'll help the sales team develop more effective strategies and synthesize customer feedback for the product team through a legal lens. You'll tailor introductions of new solutions to specific customer needs, conduct research and analysis on customers and competitors, and help establish Harvey's market perception as uniquely credible and substantive in applying AI to legal work. Travel may be required for customer office visits and company meetings. You should be qualified to practice law in the U.K. with at least 3 years of experience at a top-tier law firm. You'll need executive engagement skills, strong presentation abilities for legal and executive audiences, and a deep understanding of legal processes and challenges. Sales or customer-facing experience, law firm business development, secondment experience, or direct client matter management is a plus. Above all, you should be curious about AI's potential to transform the legal industry.
