Revolut is a fintech super app serving 80+ million customers globally with products spanning spending, saving, investing, exchanging, and travel. The company is rapidly expanding into new markets and jurisdictions. The Legal team at Revolut partners across the organization to provide practical, commercial legal advice that enables fast growth while maintaining compliance and risk management. This role is a generalist Legal Counsel focused on supporting Revolut's expansion into new markets and foreign jurisdictions. You will analyze legal issues arising in new markets, help build scalable processes for legal expansion operations, and work closely with Heads of Legal in new jurisdictions. The role combines strategic advisory work with hands-on execution, offering significant responsibility for ongoing development and growth. Key responsibilities: - Advise the business on compliance and legal issues surrounding the structuring and launch of new products in new markets - Support Heads of Legal in new markets to manage legal risks and their teams - Review licensing applications and requests for authorizations in new markets - Support the setup of entities in new markets - Help structure processes to incorporate legal workload and risk into expansion methods - Engage and collaborate with team members globally - Provide leadership while undertaking executional work - Handle significant and complex legal matters with short turnaround times Requirements: - 3+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) - Excellent academic and law firm credentials - Experience advising on financial services matters - Sound judgment, composure under pressure, and collaborative mindset - Confidence making decisions with ambiguity or incomplete information - Experience understanding legal issues in new jurisdictions - Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills - Fluency in English
