As Legal Counsel, you will support Fever's global operations with a primary focus on APAC (Asia-Pacific) expansion. Based at Fever's headquarters in Madrid, Spain, you will provide comprehensive legal support across corporate, commercial, compliance, and disputes matters. This is a hands-on role requiring proactivity and autonomy in a fast-paced, ambitious growth environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Adapting company legal strategy to regional business needs in APAC and common law markets
- Collaborating with internal teams and external legal advisors on corporate, commercial, compliance, and litigation matters
- Monitoring legislative and jurisprudence developments relevant to the region
- Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and terms across multiple jurisdictions
- Managing complex legal matters through coordination with internal stakeholders and external counsel
- Contributing to company legal knowledge through template development and legal guides
- Supporting and upskilling other team members
- Prioritizing work based on company strategy and objectives

REQUIREMENTS:
- Barred or practising lawyer in Australia or New Zealand with 4+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in top-tier law firms or in-house experience at a large multinational
- Demonstrable experience on pan-Asia projects with familiarity of business cultures across the region
- Fluent English with working proficiency in another language relevant to the market
- Strategic mindset with ability to translate complex legal issues into business outcomes
- Strong technical legal skills
- Effective communicator with emotional intelligence
- Willingness to relocate to Madrid (flexible timing available)
