Eve is an AI-native legal technology platform serving plaintiff law firms. The company has achieved product-market fit with 1000+ law firms, raised $160M from top-tier investors (Spark Capital, A16z, Menlo Ventures, Lightspeed), and is growing 2X revenue quarter-over-quarter. The team includes engineers and operators from Scale, Meta, Airbnb, Cruise, Square, and Lyft, collaborating directly with OpenAI and Anthropic on AI workflows for legal work.
As a Legal AI Architect, you will own end-to-end engagements with assigned plaintiff law firms, transforming them into AI-native operations. Your responsibilities include: discovering how firms actually operate (not how org charts say they operate), architecting AI agents tailored to their specific practice areas and workflows, and activating their teams to independently build and iterate on those agents. You will move firms from initial agent deployment through widespread adoption across their practice, with success measured in concrete metrics: cases per attorney, cycle time, revenue per matter, and usage data.
You are both advisor and builder. You conduct structured discovery to map real workflows, recommend prioritization based on ROI, then configure and deploy solutions yourself rather than handing off specifications. You develop reusable workflow maps, agent specifications, and playbook patterns that accelerate subsequent engagements. You build internal builder capacity within each firm so they can continue evolving after you transition out. You earn trust with senior attorneys and managing partners, driving adoption of changes they didn't initially request, and leave each engagement in a state where the customer success team can convert accounts into referenceable ones.
Required qualifications: structured discovery instinct; comfort operating as both strategic advisor and hands-on builder; ability to influence senior attorneys and managing partners; outcomes fluency (thinking in utilization rates, cycle times, cases per attorney); comfort in undefined, ambiguous mandates where you help define the function as you execute it; law degree or functional equivalent (rigorous training in regulated, high-stakes analytical field such as consulting, professional services, accounting, or audit).
Nice-to-haves: consulting or professional services background; experience in fast-scaling, ambiguous startup environments; direct plaintiff PI, mass tort, or employment litigation experience.
Location: Remote-based with 50%+ required travel to client sites for on-site engagements.
