Lucid Software is seeking a Learning Experience Designer to join the Customer Education team. You will design, script, and develop learning content that empowers users to adopt and master the Lucid Suite—a visual collaboration platform used by over 100 million users globally, including Fortune 500 companies like Google, GE, and NBC Universal. In this hybrid role based in Salt Lake City, you will spend approximately 30% of your time on content creation and learner experience design. This includes designing and producing a broad catalog of high-impact learning resources such as webinars, in-app tutorials, live workshops, videos, digital courses, interactive learning activities, and facilitator guides. You will design end-to-end learning experiences that successfully onboard customers, accelerate product adoption, and drive continuous mastery. You'll ensure learning materials stay current as product functionality and UI evolve, and you'll design scalable, reusable assets that work across multiple customer touchpoints. Approximately 30% of your time will focus on research and discovery. You will develop instructional content through independent product exploration, learner feedback, and interviews with subject matter experts. You'll analyze customer data, support tickets, and product usage patterns to identify learning gaps and opportunities. You'll stay current with industry trends, learning science best practices, and emerging technologies to inform your design approach. The remaining 40% involves cross-functional collaboration and project management. You will partner closely with Product, Customer Success, Marketing, Professional Services, and other stakeholders to align learning initiatives with business goals. You'll manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, prioritize effectively, and iterate based on learner feedback and performance data. You'll succeed in this role if you are obsessed with creating empathetic, learning-science-grounded experiences for real people. You should enjoy solving customer onboarding and product adoption challenges, love learning technical concepts, excel at managing competing priorities, have a clear writing voice and clean design aesthetic, build strong collaborative relationships, embrace curiosity and data-driven iteration, and are comfortable adopting new technologies including AI to improve design workflows while maintaining high learner experience standards.
