Instructure is seeking a Strategic Learning Consultant to partner with K12 institutions and support their digital transformation using Instructure products (Canvas, Mastery Connect, Impact). You will work directly with project sponsors, institutional leaders, instructional designers, faculty, and staff to drive platform adoption, enhance learner engagement, and achieve organizational instructional goals.
Key responsibilities include: collaborating with stakeholders to develop communication, training, and engagement strategies; serving as a change agent to support implementation of institutional vision; using data and inquiry processes to identify challenges and apply targeted strategies; mentoring and motivating leaders and faculty on Instructure products; listening to organizational needs and building adoption resources and model courses; planning and conducting product training and consulting sessions; helping leaders connect product usage to instructional best practices; following up to monitor progress; preparing customized help documents, course materials, and presentations; and identifying areas for additional support.
You will travel to client sites as needed to support product rollouts and implementation initiatives. The role requires strong executive presence, exceptional communication skills (verbal and written), creative problem-solving, and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments with ambiguity.
Required qualifications: minimum 3 years of teaching or consulting experience in K12 or higher education with digital learning environments; at least 2 years of hands-on Canvas and/or Mastery Connect experience, including course design; at least 1 year in an educational leadership position overseeing a team supporting learning/assessment systems; demonstrated experience leading organizational change, building relationships, and rolling out technology platforms; knowledge of technology adoption strategies and educational technology best practices; Bachelor's degree in Instructional Technology or equivalent (Master's in Educational Leadership or Instructional Technology preferred).
