SingleStore is seeking a Lead Value Engineer to drive customer success by identifying and solving complex data challenges. You will work closely with sales teams and solutions engineers to understand prospective and current customer pain points, demonstrating how SingleStore's real-time database capabilities can remove bottlenecks and deliver measurable business value.
In this role, you'll engage with Fortune 50 companies at both technical and executive levels, presenting SingleStore's product offerings and conducting proof-of-concept validations. You'll create TCO calculations and ROI models to quantify business outcomes, while providing valuable feedback to product teams based on customer interactions.
You'll need deep expertise in distributed databases, data warehousing, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware). Strong SQL proficiency and familiarity with analytics tools like Excel and Python are essential. The ideal candidate combines technical depth with exceptional communication skills—able to translate complex concepts for non-technical audiences and negotiate value-based deals with C-suite executives.
