Tailscale is seeking an experienced Lead Talent Acquisition Partner to scale its global Go-to-Market organization. This is a senior individual contributor role for a recruiter with deep GTM expertise, strong business acumen, and the ability to serve as a trusted advisor on complex, high-priority hiring needs.
You will own full-cycle recruiting for GTM functions, with primary focus on Sales across all levels and segments (SMB, Mid-Market, Enterprise, Strategic, Channel, and international). You'll develop recruiting strategies aligned with business priorities, build strong pipelines across competitive markets and geographies, and manage multiple concurrent searches while delivering exceptional candidate and hiring manager experiences.
As a GTM talent subject matter expert, you'll bring deep knowledge of sales motions, talent markets, and commercial hiring to recruiting discussions. You'll provide actionable market intelligence, talent mapping, competitive insights, and candidate feedback to inform hiring decisions. You'll advise leaders on talent availability, hiring challenges, and tradeoffs based on market conditions.
You'll build trusted relationships with GTM leadership, serving as a consultative advisor on hiring strategy and talent. You'll partner with leaders to define candidate profiles, establish effective interview processes, and translate hiring priorities into actionable recruiting plans. You'll contribute recruiting expertise to workforce and headcount planning in partnership with Talent Acquisition, Revenue Operations, Finance, and GTM leadership.
You'll leverage recruiting data and market insights to identify pipeline trends, hiring risks, and opportunities to improve outcomes. You'll provide leaders with actionable insights on pipeline health, conversion, talent availability, and search progress, recommending adjustments to profiles, locations, and timelines based on data and changing market conditions.
You'll collaborate with Talent Acquisition leadership, Operations, Sourcers, and fellow Partners to execute GTM recruiting priorities. You'll share GTM market expertise and recruiting insights across the Talent Acquisition team and contribute to recruiting initiatives and process improvements that strengthen hiring effectiveness and scalability.
