Harvey is an AI platform for legal and professional services, combining frontier agentic AI with enterprise-grade infrastructure and deep domain expertise. The company is scaling rapidly with strong product-market fit and world-class investor backing. You will own the systems and workflows powering Harvey's finance organization as it scales globally. This role sits at the center of the finance technology portfolio: NetSuite (ERP core), Zip (procurement), Ramp and Brex (spend and card programs), and Metronome (usage-based billing). You'll shape the roadmap across this portfolio, prioritize competing demands, and drive changes from discovery through deployment in a fast-moving, high-growth environment. Key responsibilities include: - Act as product owner for one or more core finance business process areas (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report) and their supporting systems. Run discovery with process owners, define target-state design, own the roadmap, and measure success on value and accuracy. - Lead complex, ambiguous problems without established patterns—such as international expansion with entity, currency, tax, and statutory complexity, or new product offerings requiring coordinated pricing, billing model, and revenue recognition design. - Develop and maintain a holistic architecture strategy for the finance applications ecosystem: system boundaries, data flows, and Harvey's short/mid/long-term needs. Collaborate with owners of adjacent systems (Workday, Salesforce) on integrations. - Eliminate manual work by replacing spreadsheets, manual data entry, and email approvals with configuration, automated workflows, and integrations. Evaluate new functionality for best fit. - Configure, maintain, and optimize NetSuite and dependent spend/revenue systems (Zip, Ramp, Brex, Metronome). Understand data flows and upstream sources that revenue reporting depends on. - Identify, test, and implement practical AI and automation opportunities with clear impact on time savings and manual work eliminated. - Own quality across applications with lightweight SDLC balancing accuracy and agility. Mentor peers and serve as escalation point for hard design questions. You'll partner closely with Accounting, FP&A, Revenue Operations, Procurement, Tax, Business Technology, and Security. The role is advisory, technical, and hands-on: you'll bring thought leadership, sit with stakeholders to understand complex problems, design solutions, and execute across the toolstack. REQUIREMENTS: - 7+ years hands-on experience as a finance systems professional, including 5+ years direct NetSuite experience with demonstrated complex configuration depth supporting a global, multi-entity, multi-currency finance organization. - Product owner or product manager experience in at least one core finance business process area (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report), with extensive depth: discovery, target-state design, proposing tradeoffs, owning roadmap through delivery. Familiarity with adjacent areas valued. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management across business and technology levels. Track record of mentoring peers, setting technical standards, or being the expert others escalate to on hard problems. - Demonstrated ability to solve ambiguous, high-stakes process problems without playbooks, operating autonomously while knowing when to escalate. Examples: international expansion, multi-entity/multi-currency complexity, new product offerings requiring coordinated pricing and revenue recognition design. - Deep understanding of leading and emerging trends in SaaS finance applications and architecture, including automation and AI innovation. - Direct experience implementing best practices around change management, regression and UAT planning, segregation of duties, and regulatory requirements while increasing efficiencies.
