Ramp is hiring a Lead Product Marketing Manager to own vertical go-to-market strategy, starting with Construction/A&E and Nonprofits/Public Sector. You will drive the full vertical business: market selection, ICP definition, product readiness assessment, positioning, pipeline management, win rate optimization, and adoption metrics.
Key responsibilities include setting vertical portfolio strategy and building business cases for investment decisions; becoming the resident expert on financial workflows, buying dynamics, and competitive landscapes in target industries; influencing the product roadmap by translating market evidence into product requirements; building industry-specific narratives that package Ramp's suite of products (cards, expenses, AP, procurement, banking, treasury, travel, accounting) around vertical-specific jobs to be done; owning end-to-end GTM strategy including ICP, positioning, channel strategy, and sales motion; leading market-facing programs through webinars, customer sessions, and industry events; enabling sales with workflow-based pitch narratives and competitive guidance; running cross-functional operating cadences with Product, Growth, Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and Finance; developing customer and partner feedback loops; and creating a repeatable verticalization playbook.
You'll need 7+ years in B2B software marketing, product marketing, growth, or strategic GTM roles with significant ownership of product or business outcomes. Demonstrated experience building GTM strategy for specific industries or workflow-heavy markets is essential. Deep familiarity with at least one of these areas is required: Construction/A&E software, accounting/ERP workflows, nonprofits, public sector, procurement, accounts payable, or financial operations. You should have a track record of influencing product strategy using customer, competitive, market, and funnel data; owning integrated B2B campaigns end-to-end; strong data literacy for pipeline, conversion, win rate, and adoption metrics; exceptional written and verbal communication; ability to lead senior cross-functional partners without formal authority; high agency and comfort with ambiguity; and fluency with AI tools in research, analysis, and workflows.
