Perplexity AI is seeking a Lead Product Designer to own the design of its enterprise product. You will design new experiences across enterprise and multiplayer use cases, creating software that feels innovative while remaining accessible to users worldwide.
You'll build net-new, 0→1 enterprise surfaces with deep knowledge of how enterprise software actually works: organizational and seat management, role-based access controls, compliance, privacy, permissions, and security. The role requires balancing well-established UI paradigms with novel applications of AI, working independently and strategically to identify problems worth solving and solutions worth shipping.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing net-new enterprise surfaces for organizational management, seat management, and admin controls
- Crafting nuanced role-based experiences that adapt to workplace policy and access levels
- Shipping features that combine traditional UI patterns with AI innovation
- Owning work end-to-end from 0→1 product design through large-scale optimization
- Working closely with product, engineering, and the broader design team
- Contributing to design process to ensure continuous shipping of high-quality changes
- Partnering with brand design to make the enterprise product both useful and memorable
You'll optimize for getting great software into customers' hands and learning from real usage. Success requires excellent visual, UI, and interaction design skills, strong communication abilities, and a deep commitment to shipping great software. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of industry experience designing enterprise, consumer, or prosumer products, with familiarity with tools like Figma, Slack, Ramp, or Airtable. Comfort with prototyping or coding (React/SwiftUI) is a plus.
