Form Energy is seeking a People Partner to serve as a strategic HR leader for its manufacturing operations at Form Factory 1 in Weirton, WV. This role reports to the Manager of People Partnership and functions as both a strategic advisor and hands-on operational partner to senior manufacturing and operations leadership.
You will drive the people strategy for a major business unit during a critical scaling phase. Key responsibilities include serving as a strategic partner to VP+ leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, and change management; leading organizational transformations including team integration and reporting structure optimization; managing talent programs such as performance management, career pathing, and succession planning; functioning as a visible site HR leader and trusted presence on the production floor across all shifts; providing expert guidance on complex employee relations issues and conducting investigations; ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; using people data and analytics to inform strategic decisions; and collaborating cross-functionally with other People Partner Leads, Legal, and HR Centers of Excellence.
You will work onsite at least 4 days per week from the Weirton facility, which is a 550,000-square-foot hub for high-volume battery production. The role requires deep experience in manufacturing and hourly production environments, strong business acumen, exceptional communication and influencing skills, and a builder's mentality to create new HR programs and processes. You will need 9+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 5 years in industrial, factory, or manufacturing settings. Relocation assistance is available.
