Stepful is a workforce platform training healthcare workers for America's largest health systems. Since 2021, Stepful has trained over 32,000 practice-ready healthcare professionals and partners with half of the top 10 US health systems including NY-Presbyterian, Mt. Sinai, HCA, Providence, CVS, and Walgreens. Backed by Y Combinator, Reach Capital, and AlleyCorp with a recent $55M Series C, Stepful was named the #1 EdTech company in the US by TIME for 2025.
You will own a revenue-generation motion converting executive relationships and curated in-person moments into pipeline across tier 1 health system accounts. This role sits at the intersection of executive partnerships, account-based marketing, and field marketing. You'll inherit and expand the Executive Advisory Board, build a net-new Customer Advisory Board from scratch, and turn both into engines for warm introductions, references, and deal support.
Key responsibilities include: managing the Executive Advisory Board end-to-end (membership expansion, cadence, agenda, conversion to warm intros and deal support); building and launching a Customer Advisory Board at practitioner/champion level; orchestrating executive-to-executive selling between Stepful leaders and health system CNOs/CHROs; partnering account-by-account with Account Executives on tier 1 accounts for whitespace mapping and executive sponsor mapping; using advisory board members and networks to unlock stalled accounts; experimenting with AI tools for account research and follow-up workflows; selecting healthcare conferences where tier 1 accounts will attend; designing high-intimacy activations (dinners, roundtables, speaker sessions) over booth-traffic plays; and owning post-event follow-through with measured attribution.
You'll need 10+ years in field marketing, ABM, executive programs, or enterprise sales/marketing hybrid roles with direct accountability for sourced or accelerated pipeline. You must have a track record building or running executive/customer advisory boards with commercial outcomes, credibility with C-suite healthcare buyers, and deep instincts for 1:1 and 1:few engagement. Comfort operating with wide latitude in ambiguity and making high-stakes judgment calls is essential. Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience required.
Bonus qualifications include healthcare systems or nursing education buyer experience, building tier 1 ABM from scratch at Series B–D startups, existing health system executive networks, and familiarity with account intelligence tools (Demandbase, 6sense) or CRM-based pipeline reporting.
