Veeam Software is seeking a seasoned Enterprise Account Executive to lead sales strategy and execution across the UK & Ireland Defense and Public Sector markets. This is a pivotal growth role reporting to the Director of Enterprise, UK & Ireland.
You will own a book of existing key customers in the Defense and Public sectors, while hunting and closing net new enterprise logo acquisitions. Your responsibilities include driving daily execution rhythms to ensure in-quarter results, building forward pipeline, and developing clear market perspectives that link corporate objectives with customer and partner initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Set vision and strategy for your UK & Ireland Enterprise Territory
- Coordinate with virtual, geographically distributed teams (including Inside Sales and Sales Development based in Bucharest)
- Drive disciplined sales execution across Veeam's full portfolio
- Accelerate growth in hybrid cloud and cloud-native environments
- Build executive-level relationships with senior stakeholders
- Partner with Channel, Hyperscalers, and System Integrators
- Challenge the status quo with innovative ideas
Success metrics include sustained revenue growth, increased wallet share, strong operational excellence, predictable execution, high-trust sales culture, and deep customer/partner relationships.
You bring significant enterprise sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding quota and KPIs. You have deep understanding of data resilience and cloud ecosystems, presence, energy, and an inspirational style to coordinate virtual teams. Background in enterprise software, SaaS, or cloud organizations is essential. Degree in business or technical discipline (or equivalent experience) required.
