DeepL is seeking a Customer Marketing Manager to lead customer advocacy and storytelling initiatives. You will report to the VP of Product Marketing and work cross-functionally with Field, Brand, Digital, Communications, and PR teams to amplify customer success stories and drive buyer trust through social proof. Key responsibilities include: surfacing and developing marquee customer stories from support tickets, sales wins, and interviews; placing customers on high-impact stages (press, webinars, keynotes, advisory boards); serving as the reference customer hub for sales teams during deal cycles; and ensuring stories publish in alignment with product launches and campaigns. You will own the full production workflow from customer discovery and interview through legal review, brand alignment, and asset publication. Success metrics include shipping named case studies across regions and verticals, resolving reference requests on time, publishing stories alongside relevant launches, and demonstrating that deals using customer references close at higher rates. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of B2B marketing experience (customer marketing, content, communications, or advocacy) with a proven track record of buyer-engaging stories that moved deals. You are a self-starter with bias for action, comfortable automating workflows and using AI in your process. You have genuine curiosity about customer business problems, strong storytelling instincts, customer-facing polish, and operational rigor in building fast approval and permissions processes. DeepL is a global AI company founded in 2017, now with ~1,000 employees across 228 markets, serving 200,000+ business customers. The company is backed by Benchmark, IVP, and Index Ventures. You'll join a diverse, internationally distributed team (90+ nationalities) with offices in the UK, Germany, Netherlands, Poland, US, and Japan. The role offers hybrid work (twice weekly in-office), flexible hours, and a culture emphasizing open communication, direct feedback, and growth mindset.
