Catawiki is a curated online marketplace for special and collectible objects, auctioning over 100,000 unique items weekly across 80+ categories. The company has sold over 25 million objects and operates with a mission to become the world's most popular destination for special objects. As a Key Account Manager in the Collectables Sales Team, you will drive commercial growth by developing and managing a portfolio of existing sellers with strong growth potential. You will take over newly onboarded sellers from Business Developers and nurture their continued expansion on the platform. Your core responsibilities include identifying high-potential sellers, developing tailored growth strategies, building and negotiating commercial agreements that create mutual value, and monitoring seller health through performance metrics. You will build strategic relationships with top sellers through targeted communication, upselling, and KPI analysis. Collaboration is central to the role—you'll work closely with Business Developers, in-house Experts, and internal stakeholders to ensure the right supply reaches the platform and to proactively address growth opportunities. You'll also partner with Customer Experience teams to support large accounts and contribute to the wider sales strategy. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills across multiple channels (in-person, phone, email, cross-functional collaboration), proven experience building and maintaining relationships with high-value commercial accounts, and a strategic mindset with solid negotiation and value-based selling abilities. You should be autonomous and organized in managing accounts and priorities, comfortable working with data and Google Workspace tools (Google Sheets, Slides), and ideally experienced with sales CRMs like HubSpot. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a commercial, economics, or sales-related field combined with sales experience is required. Fluency in Dutch and English is essential, with willingness to travel regularly within the Netherlands and Belgium and to Amsterdam headquarters. This is a hybrid role based in Amsterdam with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office. You'll work as part of a distributed team with regular team meetings, individual catch-ups, and quarterly in-person sales meetings in Amsterdam. The company offers learning and development initiatives, clear career progression plans, mentorship programs, and a diverse, inclusive culture of 800+ employees representing 60+ nationalities.
