Alan is a prevention-focused health insurance company serving 1M+ members across 40K+ companies, with €800M+ ARR. The company integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a unified platform and is expanding its Account Management team to 30+ professionals. As a Key Account Manager, you will manage a portfolio of strategic Public Sector accounts (Ministries and other public entities), building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders. Your responsibilities include: - Develop and execute account strategies to drive customer retention and growth - Conduct regular business reviews, analyzing and presenting consumption reports to clients - Identify early signals of dissatisfaction and implement proactive solutions - Ensure successful onboarding of new accounts and drive employee adoption - Renegotiate contracts to balance customer value with sustainable profitability - Identify and execute engagement initiatives for existing customers - Act as the voice of customers in product and service evolution discussions with internal teams - Demonstrate customer-centric approach and strong stakeholder management The role is based in Paris, Bordeaux, Marseille, or Annecy, with flexible office arrangements including Alan's Paris HQ and sponsored co-working hubs. The team moves fast with high ownership and tackles complex problems in the public sector space. REQUIREMENTS: - Minimum 6 years of customer-facing experience with frequent C-Level interactions - Full working proficiency in French (excellent oral and written communication) - Advanced level English proficiency - Proven experience managing very large organizations and potentially unions - Strong negotiation skills with tact and empathy - Expert-level stakeholder management and relationship building based on trust and transparency - Advanced analytical capabilities with ability to present complex data analysis to clients - Excellent active listening and follow-up communication skills - Growth mindset with ability to adapt to new trends and develop health insurance market expertise - Currently based in or willing to relocate to Paris, Bordeaux, Marseille, or Annecy - Nice to have: prior experience in insurance, benefits, or public sector
