EVERSANA is seeking an IT Staffing Sales Executive to drive new business development and account growth within the life sciences sector, including pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and healthcare research organizations. This role combines strategic account development with hands-on client engagement, positioning specialized IT talent solutions to help life sciences companies accelerate innovation, maintain compliance, and bring products to market.
Key responsibilities include identifying and closing new IT staffing opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, and industry events. You'll position staffing solutions across areas like project management, data engineering, cybersecurity, R&D IT, automation, and digital transformation. The role requires serving as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, procurement teams, and technical leaders, conducting discovery conversations to understand project goals, regulatory constraints, and talent gaps.
Account strategy and growth are central to the position. You'll develop account plans for key clients, identify expansion opportunities across business units and technology domains, collaborate with recruiting teams to ensure timely candidate delivery, and track performance metrics and revenue forecasts for quarterly planning.
Success requires staying current on life sciences trends including FDA regulations, digital health, AI/ML in drug discovery, and data governance. You'll need to understand the competitive landscape and articulate value propositions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required qualifications include proven success in IT staffing sales, business development, or account management, with experience selling into life sciences organizations. Strong understanding of IT roles (software engineering, data science, cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity) and ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders are essential. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, plus self-motivation and comfort managing full sales cycles, are required.
Preferred qualifications include existing relationships within life sciences hiring or procurement, familiarity with regulated IT environments, VMS/MSP program experience, and a bachelor's degree in business or life sciences.
