Salary: EUR 99,700 - 189,200 / annual

Mendix (part of Siemens Software) is seeking an ISV Technical Account Manager for EMEA to lead the technical relationship with a portfolio of independent software vendor partners. This role bridges technical excellence and commercial growth, helping software companies build and scale products using Mendix, AI Cloud, and Graph Studio. You will own post-sales technical relationships with ISV partners, working closely with CTOs, CPOs, architects, and engineering teams to ensure their technical success and product scalability. The role combines strategic account planning, hands-on technical guidance, and platform expansion. Key responsibilities include: **Technical Strategy & Planning**: Build trusted relationships with partner technical leadership. Translate partner product and business objectives into clear Technical Success Plans. Track technical progress, risks, and opportunities alongside ISV commercial leads. **Architecture & Guidance**: Advise on product architecture, development practices, and effective use of Mendix technologies. Guide partners on repeatable deployment, scalability, maintainability, and product evolution. Provide hands-on support through workshops, prototyping, troubleshooting, and light development. Identify technical risks early and coordinate resolution with Mendix experts or implementation partners. **Enablement**: Enable partner engineering teams to independently build, operate, and evolve their products. Tailor technical enablement to each partner's product maturity and roadmap. Share best practices, development patterns, technical resources, and platform updates. **Growth & Expansion**: Help partners launch and scale products across increasing customer bases. Identify opportunities to expand Mendix usage within existing products or across portfolios. Surface opportunities for AI Cloud and Graph Studio to strengthen products. Drive platform adoption with ISV commercial leads. **Collaboration & Feedback**: Maintain visibility into partner technical health, progress, risks, and opportunities. Provide technical input to support partner growth and account strategy. Coordinate with Product, technical specialists, implementation partners, and wider Siemens teams. Bring partner feedback and technical blockers to Product leadership and ISV teams. Keep partners informed about relevant product developments and roadmap direction. Mentor TAM peers and improve ISV technical playbooks. **Requirements:** - Degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience - Experience in technical account management, software engineering, architecture, consulting, or similar roles - Strong software engineering and architecture knowledge with credibility among experienced technical teams - Strong understanding of modern software development, cloud, data, and AI - Ability to translate partner objectives into Technical Success Plans and drive progress - Expertise in advising on architecture, integrations, scalability, reliability, and development practices - Comfortable with technical workshops, troubleshooting, prototyping, and light development - Ability to build trusted relationships with CTOs, CPOs, architects, and engineering leaders - Commercial awareness connecting technical decisions to partner growth - Ability to identify growth opportunities across Mendix, AI Cloud, Graph Studio, and Siemens portfolio - Effective collaboration with ISV Sales, Product, technical specialists, and implementation partners - Strong partner advocacy and ability to translate needs into actionable internal input - Knowledge sharing capability and mentoring ability - Growth mindset and comfort using AI in daily work - Experience building or supporting commercial SaaS or software products strongly preferred - Comfortable working across EMEA and traveling for partner engagements as required
