SoFi is seeking an Investment Specialist II to support members and new customers in building their financial futures through SoFi's investment services platform, which includes brokerage, robo-advisor, and retirement accounts.
In this role, you will provide multi-channel support (phone, chat, email) to help members understand and utilize SoFi's investment offerings. Key responsibilities include educating members on margin, options, and equities; troubleshooting operational and technical issues; monitoring member accounts for accuracy; and assisting with account opening and funding processes. You'll assess individual financial situations and goals, explain investment performance, and work collaboratively with management and product teams to improve operational processes and platforms.
Required qualifications include Series 7 & 65 OR Series 7 & 66 licensing, 2+ years of financial services experience (preferably in a customer service environment), and a bachelor's degree (or equivalent education/experience combination). You must maintain all necessary professional certifications, have deep understanding of financial concepts including margin and options regulations, and successfully pass a FINRA fingerprint background check.
Desired qualities include excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical and interpersonal abilities, customer service mindset, self-starter mentality, ability to work independently on multiple tasks, and strong attention to detail. Nice-to-have qualifications include experience with corporate actions, margin/investment risk, and additional licenses (Series 4, 24, or 63).
