This role is responsible for managing and optimizing inventory levels to support production schedules while minimizing costs of scrap, excess, and obsolescence in a highly regulated aerospace manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities include overseeing electronic cycle counts and physical audits to maintain near-perfect record accuracy, investigating root causes of inventory variances and implementing corrective actions in ERP and WMS systems, and monitoring shelf-life sensitive materials to ensure compliance with AS9100 Quality Management System standards and DFARS regulations. You will generate KPI reports and visual dashboards to track inventory health, aging stock, and transaction records, and collaborate with manufacturing stakeholders to support operational continuity, efficient forecasting, and planning.
The ideal candidate brings 3–5+ years of inventory control experience in aerospace or high-tech manufacturing environments. Experience managing parts with unique serial numbers or traceability requirements is essential, as is the ability to identify inefficiencies in material flow and drive Lean or Six Sigma initiatives. Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
