Tenstorrent, a company leading in cutting-edge AI technology and high-performance computing, is seeking an International Payroll Specialist to manage and strengthen payroll operations across Europe, with primary responsibility for Serbia and support for Poland and additional EMEA countries as the business grows.
In this hybrid role based in Belgrade, Serbia, you will own the day-to-day execution of monthly payroll activities in partnership with ADP Celergo, in-country payroll providers, HR, Finance, Treasury, and Tax. You will manage multiple payroll calendars, time zones, and deadlines independently while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and confidentiality.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own end-to-end monthly payroll operations for assigned EMEA countries, including payroll inputs, employee data validation, payroll calendars, reviews, approvals, reconciliations, funding, and payment confirmation
- Partner with ADP, ADP Client Account Managers, in-country providers, HR, Finance, Treasury, Tax, and Legal to resolve discrepancies, service requests, configuration issues, rejected inputs, statutory requirements, and compliance activities
- Maintain accurate HRIS and ADP Celergo data, and produce or review payroll previews, registers, variance reports, payslips, accounting outputs, and audit evidence
- Support new entity and payroll expansion activities, including pay group, bank account, employee population, local requirement, year-end, audit, and EOR-to-entity transition work
- Improve payroll operations through stronger controls, standardized reporting, clear documentation, issue tracking, system testing, workflow redesign, and automation of recurring earnings and deductions
You will learn how to operate and scale a multi-country EMEA payroll function, understand local payroll requirements and statutory filings, see how payroll data flows across systems, and build controls that improve accuracy and trust.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of payroll operations experience, ideally supporting multiple EMEA countries or a regional payroll environment
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple payroll calendars, time zones, deadlines, and competing priorities independently
- Hands-on experience working with external payroll providers and multi-country payroll platforms; ADP Celergo experience strongly preferred
- Understanding of payroll controls, data validation, reconciliations, variance analysis, statutory deductions, social contributions, and audit support; knowledge of Serbia and/or Poland payroll processes preferred
- Clear English communication skills, ability to protect confidential employee and compensation information, and a proactive, analytical, and service-oriented approach to resolving issues and escalating risk
