The Internal Audit team is critical to Revolut's business, working closely with Risk and Compliance to create and maintain internal risk management and compliance processes. This role executes end-to-end, risk-based customer journey and compliance audits, assessing retail and business offerings from both customer experience and regulatory compliance perspectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with the Head of Internal Audit to develop and execute audit reviews aligned with internal policies, procedures, methodologies, and regulatory requirements
- Leading and executing internal audits across core customer journeys with minimal supervision
- Formulating high-quality audit reports articulating risk findings, root causes, and agreed management action plans
- Leveraging SQL and modern data analytics tools to perform data-driven testing and maximize audit coverage
- Scoping, executing, and delivering audit reviews independently, identifying deficiencies and recommendations
- Managing relationships with senior stakeholders, navigating challenging conversations, and securing buy-in on audit outcomes
- Validating closure of audit findings to ensure robust, sustainable risk remediation
- Monitoring audit progress against timelines and scope, escalating as needed
Requirements:
- Experience in an audit-related role within a regulated financial services environment
- Experience in one or more of: customer support channels, customer satisfaction, complaints, regulatory compliance frameworks, or customer communications
- Knowledge of relevant European and UK regulations and frameworks
- Proficiency working with and interpreting data, ideally with SQL, SAS, Python, or R
- Knowledge of IIA standards
- Solid critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Desire and drive to learn, grow, and make an impact quickly
Nice to have:
- ACA, CFA, or FRM certification
- Experience in fast-paced environments with focus on execution
