Harvey is an AI platform transforming legal and professional services work through frontier agentic AI, enterprise-grade infrastructure, and deep domain expertise. The company is at a strong inflection point with product-market fit and world-class investor backing.
As Director of Integrated Content Programs, you will be the strategic lead and showrunner for Harvey's highest-priority, multi-format content initiatives. This is a senior, hands-on individual contributor role where you lead through influence rather than direct management (though the role may build a team as it grows).
You will take strategic priorities or rough ideas and develop them into comprehensive, connected content programs spanning editorial, research, video, social, educational content, events, and executive storytelling. Your responsibilities include:
**Originating and Shaping Ideas:** Develop original concepts and format strategies for priority programs. Turn business goals, audience needs, and company narratives into clear content plans. Create master briefs that define audience, narrative, creative idea, deliverables, distribution strategy, and success metrics.
**Leading Programs End-to-End:** Manage complex programs from early development through final delivery. Set up workstreams, owners, decision points, and creative review milestones. Select appropriate internal capabilities and external partners. Anticipate and solve problems proactively.
**Directing Creative Work:** Protect the central narrative throughout development and production. Provide clear, decisive feedback on scripts, story structures, interview plans, and rough cuts. Stay hands-on during concept development, briefing, and creative review.
**Coordinating Stakeholders:** Direct and coordinate writers, editors, social strategists, designers, producers, agencies, subject-matter experts, and executives. Work cross-functionally with Content Operations, Social, Creative Studio, Product Marketing, Communications, Events, Research, and company leadership.
**Building Sustainable Programs:** Use performance and audience insights to improve future programming. Turn successful programs into repeatable formats, franchises, and playbooks.
Programs typically span categories including flagship research and reports with campaigns, educational programs for legal and professional communities, content from live events, recurring video/audio/editorial franchises, executive and customer storytelling, and connected content systems for major product and company moments.
**Requirements:**
- 8+ years of experience in integrated content, editorial development, media, brand content, content studios, entertainment, journalism, or production
- Portfolio of distinctive programs spanning multiple formats
- Strong storytelling, editorial judgment, and creative instincts
- Experience developing content from early idea stage, not just executing finished briefs
- Strong brief writing and presentation skills
- Track record leading complex, visible initiatives with many stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively with executives and subject-matter experts, getting the best from them on camera and on page
- Experience directing agencies, production companies, writers, designers, and filmmakers
- Solid understanding of video, social, editorial, research, education, and event content
- Production and budget fluency to make creative recommendations that are feasible
- Ability to maintain premium brand standards while moving quickly and staying platform-relevant
- Sound decision-making, prioritization, and communication skills
- Comfort in fast-moving environments with changing priorities
- Low-ego, collaborative working style
- Genuine curiosity about legal technology, AI, and how professional work is evolving
- Experience in legal industry is helpful but not required
